Layton Simon, also known as “Ladon Beast,” is a former American drug dealer. He was the inspiration behind the character of Lamar Silas on the hit Starz series BMF. His story is a tale of success and redemption. Simon was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, where he struggled with drugs as a child. In order to survive, he had to become very resourceful and street smart.
At 14 years old, he was introduced to the drug business and quickly became a gang leader. He worked his way to the top and was eventually in charge of a Southwest Detroit drug operation. This made him involved in territory battles with other gangs. He had serious beef with the Flenory brothers, and he reserved special hatred for Big Meech. He even shot him 18 times, though only one bullet grazed his face.
Many people believe that the majority of characters in BMF are based on real individuals connected to the Flenory brothers. This is mainly due to the similarities between the two, as well as Layton’s history with mental illness.
While Layton may have been a gangster in his past, he has since reformed and is now a motivational speaker. He uses his experiences to teach others about how to overcome adversity and find their purpose in life. He’s also an advocate for mental health and has spoken publicly about his struggles with depression. He’s also been involved with several charities and is doing his part to make a difference in the world.
