The NBA legend stoically spent 19 fundamentally sound seasons allowing his play to speak for him. He won five championships, was a 15-time All-Star and is now one step closer to being enshrined in the Hall of Fame in 2022. The Big Fundamental was a staple in San Antonio’s dynasty of the 2000s and 2010s and is considered one of the greatest power forwards ever to play in the league.

Throughout his 19-year career, Duncan was an understated player and a model citizen off the court as well. His appearance was always clean-cut and he never sought to draw too much attention to himself. But recently, the former NBA superstar has reemerged with a new look that has left fans stunned.

His haircut and facial hair have changed drastically, causing people to express their surprise, amusement, and even disbelief.

Duncan is not currently playing basketball professionally, but the former All-Star and five-time champion still remains close to the Spurs organization. He has worked with the team as a developmental assistant coach under Gregg Popovich, though he will reportedly step down from his role this season.
