Originally built in 2017, Norwegian Joy brings the upscale side of NCL to Alaska and Mexico with a large ship packed full of fun. This is a ship for couples, families and mature travelers that want a destination-focused cruise with all the latest innovations in cruising.
Joy has a wide selection of dining options, from three main restaurants included in your cruise fare to eight specialty restaurants for which you pay a cover charge or a la carte. You can also catch the sunset from the open-air Waterfront promenade or wander into one of the many poolside lounges. In the evening, enjoy live music and laughs with the cast of the hit musical Footloose or the earth-inspired acrobatic revue ELEMENTS!
There are also a couple of big water slides onboard: the Aqua Racer and Ocean Loops. The former is more fun for kids while the latter is a little scarier for adults.
You can watch the Norwegian Joy sail from Seattle and Los Angeles to the Pacific Coast, Alaska or the Panama Canal with 7-night cruises during the summer months. The ship also operates year-round on longer 16-night cruises between Miami and Los Angeles via the Panama Canal.
