Where Is Serenade of the Seas Now

Royal Caribbean’s smaller cruise ship, Serenade of the Seas, offers a more classic cruising experience than some of the larger, more modern ships that are on the market today. The Radiance-class ship sails year-round and features something for everyone, from families to couples and singles to groups of friends.

In addition to the standard cruise fare, which includes meals in the main dining room and the buffet, there are also plenty of ways to upgrade your onboard eats. Park Cafe is home to a variety of light bites for an up-charge, while Chops Grille serves up classic steakhouse options.

The main pool on Serenade of the Seas is a hub of activity, with plenty of loungers and a waterslide. There are also two hot tubs and a spa-adjacent Solarium, where you can enjoy a bit of quiet time.

There’s also plenty to do at sea, from the usual cruise ship fare of games and trivia contests to more educational offerings like art seminars, lectures and even dance classes. The ship’s theaters offer plenty of live entertainment as well, with overly enthusiastic cruise directors leading the crowd in hairy chest contests and towel folding demonstrations.

For some adults-only fun, the ship offers a full range of bars and clubs, from the Schooner Bar to the Safari Club, which is more man-friendly with lots of dark wood and billiards. The ship also has a few outdoor spaces, where you can enjoy some fresh ocean air and a cocktail.
