Where is Mike "Boogie" Malin Now?

March 13, 2024

Big Brother alum Mike “Boogie” Malin is going through a rough patch. The reality TV star filed for bankruptcy last month, Us Weekly reports. According to the court documents, the 52-year-old is seeking to have his qualifying debts wiped clean with no obligation to repay them.

The former Big Brother winner first appeared on the show in 2001 with Krista Stegall, where they formed the iconic Chilltown alliance that took them far into one of the most tumultuous seasons of the series ever. The duo were a match made in reality TV heaven, combining crafty gameplay with hilarious faux phone calls to the Diary Room.

Despite their showmance and friendship, things eventually soured between the two, leading to Dr. Will Kirby filing a restraining order against his former Big Brother costar. After his arrest in 2019, Boogie was found guilty of felony stalking and sentenced to two years of probation.

However, it seems like the former Big Brother star may have relapsed since his probation was revoked on Wednesday after failing to show up for a court date. Sources close to the case tell TMZ that Boogie missed his appearance, which was part of his court ordered treatment plan, and as a result, his probation has been revoked. The source says that this could lead to him being placed in a mental health facility.
