In addition to her work in the weather industry, she also enjoys traveling with her husband, working out, entertaining and watching movies. She is a huge sports fan cheering on her FSU Seminoles and favorite NFL teams. She is an animal lover and has a cat named Nahlah and a dog, Bailey.
The NBC10 meteorologist is currently based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She joined the station this summer after spending a year in State College, Pa., where she served as a senior broadcast meteorologist for AccuWeather. She replaced Shaina Humphries, who departed for a role at CBS Detroit.
Before that, she worked as a meteorologist for the Herald-Mail Media in Hagerstown, Maryland, and at WCCC-TV station in Charlotte, North Carolina. Michelle has a bachelor's degree in meteorology from Florida State University in Tallahassee.
Besides her professional life, she is an avid volunteer. She recently helped at an event to provide winder holiday gifts for adults and children organized by the Safe Alliance. She also helped cook and serve food at a local church.
