Lauren Jones is the emcee of events at Indiana’s French Lick Resort, where she will be the face of the brand on social media. She'd been with the Louisville-area NBC affiliate for a decade. Jones has also been involved in a Baywatch beach body workout video series.
Lauren is a graduate of Mississippi State University and earned her law degree at New York University School of Law, where she was a member of the New York Law Review. She has co-authored friend of the court briefs in cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, and her writing has appeared in The Washington Post, the Daily News, and Bloomberg News. Prior to joining NCAJ, she was a civil rights national counsel at the Anti-Defamation League, where she led the organization’s work on a range of issues, including voting rights, school equity, immigration reform, and women’s rights.
She is a frequent public speaker on topics including fines and fees, criminal legal reform, and civil rights. Lauren was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi. She is the daughter of Deborah Pearsall and Jim Jones, and granddaughter of State Representative Gloria Martinson. Her maternal grandparents immigrated to the United States from Oslo, Norway.
