Throughout the years, Kandi Hall has made a name for herself with her management consulting and paralegal work. However, she’s known to the world for her involvement in a high-profile case that resulted in the murder of Emmett Corrigan. She pleaded guilty to grand theft in the 2012 case, and was sentenced to 14 years in prison. She was released in June 2014, and is now on probation until 2026.
In the months leading up to the fatal shooting, Emmett Corrigan and Kandi Hall engaged in a torrid affair that began with meetings at her husband Rob’s law firm. They even had sexual intercourse in the office. Despite this, Kandi testified at trial that she loved her husband and was committed to their marriage.
The incident that ended in tragedy took place on March 11, 2011, when Rob shot and killed Corrigan in a parking lot outside of a pharmacy. The father of five was reportedly upset after discovering that his wife had been having an affair with a male coworker.
Four years later, the victim’s widow Ashlee Birk is finally speaking out about the tragedy to share her message of forgiveness and healing. She’s joined by her sister and daughter for the first time since the incident, and they all reveal how their lives have changed after the tragedy. The sisters also discuss how they’ve reclaimed their relationship with each other after the tragedy. The sisters will be appearing on Dr. Phil’s show tomorrow to share their story and help others move forward after heartache and loss.
