Heather Unruh was born on the 28th of June 1978 in St Louis, Missouri (United States). She is an American Journalist and Public Speaker. She is the daughter of Dee and Jerry Unruh. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from the DePauw University of Greencastle, Indiana. She is married to William Nicolas Little and they have a son named Will. She has been a part of the News Center 5 for over 15 years.

She has received many awards including the Gracie Allen Award and the Clarion Award from the Woman Association in Communication. She has also won the Edward R. Murrow Award and has been given the Grand Gracie recognition. She is a strong advocate for lung cancer awareness and has raised a lot of funds for the same cause. She has been awarded by the Uniting Against Lung Cancer and the American Cancer Society.

She has recently been involved in the Kevin Spacey sexual harassment scandal and has supported her son to fight against him. She believes that all the facts should be presented in court and justice should be served. She also has a business in Nantucket called Nantucket Coppersmith and designs one-of-a-kind pieces for customers, from a weathervane to a custom panel for their home’s portico or hearth. The pieces are hand-crafted from 20 gauge copper and beautifully aged to add character and style to any home. She is also known to promote the campaign against rape and support rape victims.
