The city’s top cop resigned this week, but what is he up to now?

If you’re an avid watcher of the popular Netflix show, Making a Murderer, you might remember a case that involved Gregory Allen and Steven Avery. Avery was convicted of raping a Manitowoc County woman, but in 2003 DNA evidence exonerated him. Allen, on the other hand, was convicted of a different rape and served almost two decades in prison before being released.

But what happened to him afterwards? Where is gregory wilson allen now?

SAN MARCOS, Texas -- A teenager whose mother was country superstar George Strait has died in a crash in rural Central Texas. Jenifer Strait, 13, was riding in a Mustang with three friends, including 16-year-olds William Allen McDonald and Joseph Wiley Robbins, on Wednesday night when the car spun off the road and crashed. None of the occupants were wearing seat belts.

Investigators said Allen turned sharply and lost control of the Mustang, which ended up in a ditch. The other two teens suffered minor injuries, but Jenifer was partially ejected and died at the scene. Allen faces criminally negligent homicide charges.
