Tropical Storm Elsa is bringing tropical storm-force winds and heavy rainfall to Florida’s northern coast. Elsa is expected to strengthen into a hurricane before it makes landfall in central Florida on Tuesday evening, the National Hurricane Center said. Princess Elsa of Arendelle was born with the ability to create and control ice and snow. During her childhood, she enjoys using her powers to build a winter wonderland to play in with her younger sister Princess Anna. But one night, Elsa accidentally harms Anna with her magic and is traumatized. The king and queen send her away to a tribe of mountain trolls to be healed. The trolls erase Anna’s memory of the incident and warn that as Elsa grows older, her powers will become both beautiful and dangerous so she must learn to control them.
Three years later, Queen Elsa returns to her kingdom to celebrate her own coronation with Anna and the kingdom’s ice harvester Kristoff and their snowman Olaf. But Elsa is terrified by the prospect of hurting others with her powers and isolates herself in her ice palace. She unintentionally awakens the elemental spirits, triggering an eternal winter.
When she discovers that her beloved Olaf is trapped in her ice dam, Anna believes an act of true love will save him. But when Hans attacks Anna, she uses her last bit of strength to block his attack and freezes him solid.
