Where is Brady Quinn Now?

March 14, 2024

For the last decade or so, Brady Quinn has been a fixture on radio broadcasts across the country. He churns through the tape, analyzes formations and tendencies, and spends hours a day studying up on players and game plans before his next broadcast. It's a common goal for former NFL players to make the transition into the media world once they retire, and Quinn's career is far from over.

When he's on the air, the former Notre Dame quarterback isn't predicting a blowout win for his alma mater, but he's confident that the Irish can knock off a favored Ohio State team this weekend in South Bend. In a Wednesday appearance on CBS Sports Radio, Quinn told host Zach Gelb that his confidence level is a 10 on a scale of 1-10 in the Irish's chances against the Buckeyes.

In his first season as a starter, Quinn set the freshman records for pass completions and attempts while leading the Fighting Irish to a share of the national championship. Quinn would also finish fourth in the Heisman Trophy voting and lead his team to two straight BCS bowl game appearances.

Despite his successes on the field, Quinn was unable to stick on an NFL roster. He was released by the Miami Dolphins in April, and his attempt to resurface with the New York Jets failed when he didn't earn a spot over Matt Leinart or Tarvaris Jackson. Quinn has since moved on, settling into his new home in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., with his wife and three children.
