Where is Benzino Now?

March 15, 2024

Benzino, real name Raymond Scott, is an American rapper and hip-hop media executive. He is known for his role in the hip-hop group Made Men and as the co-founder of The Source magazine. The magazine is widely recognized as one of the most influential hip-hop publications in the industry.

Throughout his career, Benzino has been involved in several controversies. His feuds with other rappers, most notably Eminem, became widely publicized and contributed to his notoriety within the music industry. These conflicts often played out through diss tracks and public statements.

In addition to his work in the music industry, Benzino has also ventured into acting and celebrity boxing. He was a participant in the short reality show Celebrity Boxing Miami Press Conference and also competed on the season 14 of the show Marriage Boot Camp alongside his ex-girlfriend, Althea Heart.

Following the end of their relationship, Benzino and Heart welcomed a son together, Zino Antonio Scott Jr., in 2015. Their son's birth was supposed to mark the beginning of a new chapter for the former couple. However, rumors of domestic violence and other issues soon surfaced.

In April 2021, Benzino was involved in an alleged altercation with Heart and her boyfriend. The incident reportedly resulted in Benzino damaging the man's vehicle. He was subsequently arrested for second-degree criminal damage and disorderly conduct. However, he was released from jail the same day. During his time behind bars, the former media mogul missed a virtual court appearance related to the case due to COVID-19.
