Bam Margera, best known for his appearances on MTV's Jackass, has been dealing with some serious personal issues of late. The former skateboarder, who recently went through rehab, has had several run-ins with the law and is involved in a contentious divorce from his estranged wife Nicole Boyd.
In May, the Viva La Bam alum shared on social media that he had celebrated one year of sobriety. He also dished about his current situation with his family, writing that he was "so grateful to have my beautiful wife and baby Phoenix by my side."
Unfortunately, a month later, TMZ reported that Margera had once again fled the treatment facility he was staying at in Florida. The site alleged that he was unhappy with the facility and was afraid of never seeing his son again. Following a reported crisis intervention, the site said Margera agreed to stay at another facility.
On Thursday, the 43-year-old former star appeared at a Chester County courthouse in West Chester, Pennsylvania, to face charges of threatening his brother and making terroristic threats against his family members. He was flanked by his lawyers and walked into the courtroom, smiling and posing for photos as the paparazzi crowded around him.
The Viva La Bam alum was also recently part of a celebrity charity event to benefit the victims of Hurricane Maria. He also appears in the 2023 Jackass Forever trailer as an unnamed member of the crew.
