The New England Patriots legend Tom Brady is one of the most famous NFL players in history. He has won six NFL Super Bowls and he’s known for his unique obsession with football and his relentless work ethic. But there’s another side to the GOAT. He also has a family and he’s very close to his parents.
Tom’s mom Galynn has been battling cancer since the 2016 season. The two had to go through a lot of treatments and radiation, but Galynn was finally able to finish her treatment last year. It was a big moment for the family and it was also nice to see her attend a Patriots game with her husband Tom.
But now it seems like Tom’s parents are getting a little worried about their son. They’re worried about how he’ll handle life after football. They’re not sure he’ll be able to cope without the structure, mission, and intensity of the sport.
Luckily for them, the 45-year-old is planning on hanging up his cleats for good after a disappointing season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He’ll be a free agent for the second time in his career and could sign with another team this offseason.
Tom’s parents love him for who he is as a person and as an athlete, but they’re just worried about how he’ll deal with the responsibilities of life outside of football. Hopefully, he’ll be able to find the balance and we’re sure his family will support him no matter what.
