Waxahachie Offers Plenty of Things to Do and See

Waxahachie is an amazing town that offers many wonderful things to do and see. This small town is situated on the shores of Lake Waxahachie and is home to a population of 41140. Whether you're looking for fun outdoor activities or want to spend some time shopping, this is the town for you.

Gingerbread Trail Tour of Homes

The annual Waxahachie Gingerbread Trail Tour of Homes offers visitors an inside look at the historical homes of this Texas town. Tickets are sold at the Ellis County Museum or at individual houses. Each ticket includes a guided tour of five private homes. At the end of the tour, attendees learn about the restoration and history of each house.

There are also several attractions to be found along the trail. You may even visit the newly restored Ellis County Art Museum.

Another highlight of the trail is the annual arts and crafts fair. This event is hosted by the Waxahachie Downtown Merchants Association. Visitors can purchase tickets to the event for just $7 for children. Adult tickets are $25.

Breeze Waterpark & Paintball

Breeze Waterpark & Paintball is a great place to take the kids. Located in Waxahachie, Texas, it offers a variety of activities that the whole family will enjoy.

The water park features a lazy river, water slides and a paintball course. It also has a splash pad for the kids to cool off. A snack bar, sound system and variety of terrain make it a great place to visit.
