Wanda Stanley may be facing up to ten years in prison for the murder of her husband, but she seems to have found a new home. According to her attorney, she has recently moved from Minnesota to Georgia.
She is now living in Henry County, and she appears to be happy with her new digs. She is surrounded by plenty of family members, and she is looking forward to her next chapter in life. She also has a good lawyer by her side, so she should have no problem staying out of trouble in the future.
Prosecutors have presented evidence of homicide with malice, under the guidance of Henry County Senior Assistant District Attorney Jim Wright. They have provided police declaration that points up logical inconsistencies in Stanley’s statements following her husband’s death.
She claimed that the night she lethally shot her significant other, he was attempting to constrain her into having sex with him and expected her to go along with a stripper at the Pink Pony grown-up club. She shot him when he halted to take a cocaine hit. Loring said that she displayed indications of battered condition, ladies, as per her declaration on Friday. She added that John Stanley and her participated in a pattern of brutality, leaving her with a feeling of learned powerlessness.
