the hurt and the healer

The Hurt & The Healer is a 2012 album from the award winning American Christian rock group MercyMe. It was produced by Brown Bannister and Dan Muckula, and is credited as one of the band's most personal incarnations to date. It debuted at the top of the Billboard Christian albums chart and has sold a healthy 33,000 copies in its first week of release.
The music and lyrics were penned by co-lead singer Bart Millard, keyboardist Robby Shaffer, guitarist Mike Schuechzer and bassist Nathan Cochran. It is the newest addition to the band's illustrious history of releases. The most notable omission was the inclusion of keyboardist Jim Bryson, who departed the group to pursue a musical career in the sandbox. The group has since reunited.
The best part is that you can listen to the music while reading up on the album in the comfort of your own home or on the go. This song is just as good for listening to and humming along to as it is for dancing to.
