The best part about Tesla is that it doesn't just happen - they've been playing together since the halcyon days of the early '80s. Their latest album, Shock, is the band's eighth release and will be available on vinyl, CD, and digital formats later this year. The band has also reformed its touring operation to include a short run of North American dates that will be followed by some European opps oozing with intrigue.

The most impressive of these tours is the aforementioned Shock, which will be supported by Tesla's triumvirate of frontman and guitar wizard, Jeffery Lewis, and bassist, Mike Spano. This is the band's first tour under their new name and will feature special guests Bar 7 as well. The band is currently on tour in the US and Mexico, but fans can catch them at their upcoming shows at the aforementioned attractions. The band is currently scheduled to play a total of two dates in Europe and one in the US, plus a slot at this years Graspop Metal Meeting.
