Scooter Telford emerged as the feel-good story on Monday night's episode of "Hotel Hell," the Fox reality show in which shouty British chef Gordon Ramsay visits ailing inns and hotels. All he asked in return was that he be allowed to open his own bakery.
Police in Shropshire are reminding residents that e-scooters are illegal to use on public roads and land. They are urging people to keep themselves safe after several members of the public have been knocked down by the vehicles.
Despite having to undergo two surgeries for scoliosis and one for a heart condition, 20-year-old Scooter Telford made such an impression on 'Hotel Hell' star Gordon Ramsey that the hotel owner offered to finance his education at culinary school. All he asked in return was that the hotel owner allow him to open his own bakery someday. Telford has since taken Ramsay up on the offer and is enrolled at Schenectady County Community College. He will later transfer to Paul Smith College for his final two years of study.
