Sam Bradford - Where is He Now?

September 7, 2023

When Sam Bradford declared for the NFL Draft after his sophomore year at Oklahoma, he was a popular pick to be one of the top picks. He went on to play in nine seasons in the NFL and amassed a record of 34-48-1 with an 84.5 career passer rating. However, Bradford has never played in a playoff game. He has also spent plenty of time on the bench, including in his last two years.

Bradford grew up in Oklahoma City and attended Putnam City North High School, where he played football, basketball, baseball, and golf. He eventually gained a scholarship to the University of Oklahoma, where he was a star quarterback. After graduating from the University, Bradford got drafted into the NFL by the St. Louis Rams.

His rookie season was a success, and Bradford set the record for most completions by a rookie quarterback. He was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, and he won several awards. Unfortunately, Bradford started to get hurt and never really recovered. Bradford was never the same player after his injuries, and he tore his ACL twice during his career.

In the end, Bradford retired from the NFL in 2018 after playing for the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles. He hasn’t played a single game since, and it seems likely that his career is over for good. He is 34-years-old, and it’s hard to imagine him being a starting NFL quarterback again.
