Miley Cyrus is no stranger to the stage or the camera but she had her work cut out for her during the opening episode of the new season. While her sexy co star and impromptu emcee Hillary Clinton wowed the crowd with her plethora of sexy one liners, Cyrus stood out from the rest with a number of eye-catching performance feats including a gimmick worthy appearance by Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips, and an awe-inspiring musical display which included her first foray into solo singing. She also showed up the ol' school with a couple of eye-popping ensembles in tow, and of course, she has to have her dazzled by a good old-fashioned belly dance.
She was a diva at the mic, so it was no surprise that she took the cake in terms of sheer volume, but there was something about her show-stopping musical performance that got her fans giddy and the haters shivering. From a strictly entertainment standpoint, the best of the bunch was her performance of the song "Karen, Don't Be Sad," which was a lot more fun than it was long. The other major highlight was her performance of the song "Twinkle song" from her experimental LP Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz. As far as music goes, "Twinkle song" topped the charts by a slew of points.
Listen to her amazing new song Flowers as well!
