If you're looking to become a more positive person and learn some important spiritual wisdom, Michael Singer is the guy for you. His best-selling book, The Untethered Soul, is a fantastic guide to releasing your false self, letting go of negativity and fear, and finding an enlightened space of inner peace.
Michael Singer was born Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou on June 25, 1963, in East Finchley, London, England. He was one of the top pop music artists in the 1980s and 1990s.
He toured Europe and the United States during his career. He also made appearances on several TV shows, including the popular musical competition show American Idol.
In addition to his career, Michael was active in the gay rights movement and HIV/AIDS charity fundraising. He came out as gay in 1998 and appeared on the 2005 documentary A Different Story.
While pop music was his primary genre, the musician also incorporated elements of soul and jazz into his work. This is reflected in his 1992 release Listen Without Prejudice, Vol. 1 as well as his 1996 album Older.
During his early years in the music industry, Michael struggled to find success and found that his popularity declined after his contract with Sony was canceled. This led him to consider retirement, but his career resurrected when he signed a new contract with Sony.
He released the fourth studio album Patience in 2004 and began to make a name for himself on the dance music charts. The record, which featured the singles "Flawless" and "Amazing," became a major hit with fans of dance music. He went on to star in the musical television series Eli Stone, which also featured some of his hits.
