Eminem stronger than i was meaning is one of the best Hip-Hop albums to date and contains some of his most popular tracks. It is a great mix of both Lyrical and Hype songs, which made it a huge success worldwide. It sold over 790,000 copies in the United States and charted at #1 on the US Billboard.
EVIL TWIN - The final track on the album, this Slim Shady rap-a-thon is loaded with good punchlines and a few mind-blowing bars and flows. The instrumental, credited to Sid Roams, is appropriately banging, and Marshall utilizes it to great effect.
BABY - This Frequency-produced track is a lot better than you might expect from the producer of "Love the Way You Lie." Em's rapping here is inspired, and the hook works well enough. The song is also littered with some of Em's most mind-blowing alliteration and clever pocket rapping.
WICKED WAYS - This isn't exactly a masterpiece, but it's a decent effort. The beat is pretty boring, and the hooks are rote, but Eminem's rapping is on point here, as usual.
THE MONSTER - This isn't one of the best tracks on the album, but it is a nice example of how he can still pull off an epic commercial hit. The instrumental here is fine, and the hook sounds pleasant enough, but it's a bit too generic for top-40 radio.
RHYME OR REASON - Rick Ruben begins his unholy union with Em with this flip of the flower-child classic “Time of the Season.” While the hook here is pretty bad, the instrumental is actually quite enjoyable. It's one of the few songs on the entire album that doesn't fall apart when played loudly, and it's a pleasure to listen to.
