Drake's latest piece of bling, which he debuted at his Lil Baby & Friends Birthday Celebration Concert in Atlanta last weekend, has raised eyebrows. It’s a bespoke diamond necklace that features 42 rings representing the times he thought about proposing to women, according to its designer.
The necklace is a collaboration with Alex Moss and features round, emerald, princess and pear-cut diamonds that are set in 18-karat white gold. The rapper paid for the exclusive piece, which took Moss 14 months to create.
A diamond from each ring represents a woman that Drake has dated in the past, including Rihanna and model Sophie Brussaux. The Certified Lover Boy hitmaker has a grocery list of short-lived relationships, but his most talked about romance is with Brussaux and their 5-year-old son, Adonis Graham.
He's also been linked to Serena Williams, Tyra Banks, Kat Dennings and Jennifer Lopez. He sent tongues wagging around Christmas 2016 when he shared a photo of himself cuddling up with Jennifer Lopez but split shortly after.
His dating game is a mystery to many and has made headlines countless times. He’s also been accused of exaggerating his relationship status by writing songs about women he barely knows.
In a recent skit, Saturday Night Live skewered Drizzy’s tendency to write about women he doesn’t know in the song lyrics. The show aptly called him the “United Tingz of Aubrey.”
