The Canadian rapper Aubrey Drake Graham, known professionally as Drizzy, is the founder of October's Very Own (OVO), a record label and fashion brand that he and his partners Noah "40" Shebib and Oliver "Ollie" El-Khatib run. Their company is a multi-faceted business that includes music, clothing, accessories and special collaborations.
OVO started out with a simple MySpace page and blog that Drake and his team would use to post music, art, photography and fashion related content. Over time, OVO became a full-fledged business that not only helped promote Drake's music career but also brought in additional income for the trio.
Throughout the years, OVO has launched new collections and collaborated with numerous brands that have all helped to establish Drake's eponymous label as one of the most coveted in the world. From the iconic OVO x Takashi Murukami collection to the infamous OVO x Clarks Desert Boots, there are plenty of standout pieces in OVO's catalog that have set them apart from their competition and are considered staples of OVO's success.
In 2014, OVO took its partnership with the Toronto Raptors to the next level by creating Drake Night. During the first three games of the season, ticket holders to each game received a special Drake OVO t-shirt.
For those who weren't able to attend the game, OVO also created a Drake Zone for fans in the stands. This Drake Zone was a fixture for ticket sales during the rest of the Raptors season and gave away an OVO Raptors playoff shirt with each Drake Zone t-shirt that was purchased.
