Dale Sigler - Where is He Now?

September 7, 2023

Dale Sigler is one of the most famous names in the world of true crime. He committed a heinous murder in 1990 when he shot and killed John William Zeltner Jr at a Subway restaurant in Texas. The crime was so shocking that it made Sigler a household name, and he went on to have a long criminal history before his arrest.

After being released from prison, Sigler has moved in with his pen pal surrogate mother Carole Whitworth, whom he refers to as “Mama Carole”. He’s still unemployed and living in her home, but he continues to look for work. He’s also starting to get involved in church and is attempting to start a ministry. He’s been able to make new friends and has a positive outlook on life.

He’s trying to retrain himself and is no longer the reckless young man that he was before his time in prison. He spends his days reading books and watching television shows that he missed while in jail.

He’s even begun to practice yoga and meditate, which is a great step in the right direction. He’s hoping to one day become a truck driver and continue to live in Texas with his “Mama Carole”. He wants to help younger people stay away from the bad choices that he made. He also plans to open a ministry, and has studied at the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, Texas.
